Ultimate Beauté Favourites

Hi bloggers, we are very sorry that we haven't posted in a while but we have both been so busy with other commitments. We have got ourselves organised and have decided that we are going to post every Friday so make sure you're there!
Anyway, today we're gonna talk about our all time beauty favourites from each category of makeup e.g. favourite foundation, favourite mascara etc. We have given both of our opinions on our favourites so on some, you will see two opinions, enjoy!

FOUNDATION
I adore Dior Forever Skin because it is a medium coverage foundation which has a natural finish, so not too dewy, not too matte. This amazing foundation lasts ALL DAY without going patchy at all. They have a wide range of shades so there's a colour match for everyone, and it is in a super luxury glass bottle.
I recently jumped on the Nars Sheer Glow band wagon. I had been contemplating it for a long time after reading so many great reviews and I finally decided to just go ahead and buy it! I can truly say it was a buy well worth the money! Despite the name 'Sheer glow' I find it to be a medium coverage which is great because it can be built up to a fuller coverage or sheered our for those 'no makeup, makeup days'. I also do not find it glowy at all. I wouldn't say it's matte, but it's definitely doesn't 'glow' as the name suggests, which i was a bit dubious about at first because I have oily/combination skin but its great and gives the perfect natural finish. I find this foundation doesn't break me out like many other foundations I've tried do. Don't be scared of the price tag, it's so worth it.

CONCEALER
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer is our absolute favourite. Although this is a cheaper concealer option we have found it is actually better than many higher end concealers we've tried. It covers ALL imperfections and lasts all day. We won't say much about this product as it is a favourite in the blogging world and widely talked about but for £4.19 (at boots) you cannot go wrong, bargain!!

POWDER
Our favourite favourite powder is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Another drugstore product we find beats any high-end powders we've tried. We both use the shade 'transparent' which won't add coverage but mattifys the face to get rid of any unwanted shine and sets your face in place so it's not going to slip around through out the day. A great cheap product that is a must have in both our makeup bags.

EYESHADOW
Naked 2 is the perfect neutrals palette. It contains beautiful neutral colours, with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. They have excellent lasting power and are super pigmented! Great for a daytime look and can also be built up to create a dramatic smokey eye for an evening look.
For a cheaper option, the MUA Undress me 2 has a very similar colour range. Although the pigmentation is not quite as good as the Naked palette, it is still good and such good value for money at £4 a palette!!

EYELINER
For eyeliner I like to use the Rimmel Scandle Eyes kohl pencil. It glides on nicely without tugging at the eye but I do find it needs touching up throughout the day, however I am yet to find a pencil liner that doesn't. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them!!
For the liquid liner effect I love the Loreal Superliner which is just like a felt tip pen, so quick and easy to apply. Great for people like me who don't have the patience or steady hand to use a liquid.

MASCARA
Benefit They're Real is a really good mascara, we find the formula and the brush work perfectly together to create the right amount of length and volume. No other mascara has made my lashes as long as They're Real has! It stays put all day and night but means it is a right pain to get off. Your eyes will need a good soak in eye makeup remover to get rid of this mascara!
Having said that, we both find that any mascara does the job, (probably seen as a sin in the beauty world) but we will use any mascara and are always trying different ones.

BLUSH
We love all of the sleek blushes, they have such a fantastic shade range, catering for all skin tones. They are so so pigmented so last a long time. They're very affordable and definitely an asset to anyone's makeup collection. We love the shade 'pomegranate' for the winter months, its a lovely deep pink colour that gives the 'out in the cold, rosy cheeks look'.
BRONZER
I use the Jelly Pong Pong Caribbean Sun Bronzer Duo which includes a bronzer and a blush. The Bronzer is completely matte which is exactly what I want from a bronzer. It has no orange undertones so gives a lovely natural bronzed look. I dust this just under my cheek bones to contour and up onto my temples, really great all round bronzer.
My favourite bronzer is no other than Benefit Hoola. No shimmer, no orange, perfect bronzer. Really pigmented so only a tiny amount needs to be used which means it will last you a very long time. Excellent bronzer to contour with or to create a gorgeous sun kissed look.

HIGHLIGHTER
Benefit highbeam is a pink toned liquid highlighter that does a great job at enhancing cheek and brow bones. Its so easy to use, lasts forever and completes any makeup look!

LIPS
My favourite everyday nude has to be Benefit's do tell lipstick, it's a lovely pink nude that is perfect for any look, it's very moisturising and lasts well on the lips. Another one of my all time favourites is MAC'S O lipstick, this is more of a pink brown shimmer lipstick as it's a frost finish, which i think looks really sophisticated!

For my everyday lip, I love the revlon lip butter in the shade Pink truffle, which is a really lovely pink nude that has a brown undertone, which makes it a perfect everyday look that leaves a natural yet completed look. The revlon lip butters are so moisturising and balm like that they would not dry your lips out through out the day, which I find a lot of lipsticks do! Another huge benefit to these lip wonders, is that they wear off really well, so you don't have to worry about any uneven product in the day.
